Further to my recent correspondence, schools have received information today from Qualifications Wales on the processes to follow in order to secure qualifications for our learners. School colleagues will be working closely in coming weeks with the WJEC Examination Board in adherence to published procedures.

In adherence with the published guidance set out today by Qualifications Wales, school staff cannot disclose teacher assessed grades to pupils. Therefore I would ask you to discuss with your son/ daughter the importance of not asking school staff for any indication of their teacher assessed grades. I am mindful of the worries that learners may have about their qualifications at present and so below is a link to a letter written to learners by Philip Blaker, the Chief Executive of Qualifications Wales, which addresses some of the questions that they may have.
