Year 12 students at BVS have had the opportunity to complete work experience with Mike Hedges, Assembly Member for Swansea East.
Two students have completed work experience so far, working in Mr Hedge’s constituency office, including compiling reports and other administrative duties. Both students are interested in law and politics and have enjoyed working in the busy environment of an AM’s office.
The work experience was arranged as part of the school’s programme for More Able and Talented students. BVS has a scheme to support more able pupils to gain work experience and academic enrichment opportunities that will benefit them when applying for university.
