This year’s County Cross Country Championships took place in Margam Park. We had over 30 pupils representing Bishop Vaughan, some of whom competing for places and many who were there to experience a new event and have fun. The attitude shown by all pupils was fantastic and we came away with some fantastic performances. Four pupils gaining selection for the Afan Nedd Tawe County team to compete in the Welsh Finals at Brecon and a huge achievement for our Year 8/9 boys team winning the team event with the best placed six finishers from a school. Another highlight was the sense of accomplishment from those running for the first time and looking forward to the next event.
