This year, pupils learned about Bronwen Lewis's musical journey from a contestant on the English medium TV show "The Voice", to a judge on the Welsh medium equivalent "Y Llais". 

 

The myth that "Welsh music is boring" was disproven with tutors showing how artists from Y Llais have taken well know songs and translated them to Welsh. The pupils enjoyed hearing the tracks played in English and then in Welsh and were in agreement that Welsh music needn't be boring at all. The favourites were the translations of Ed Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill",  Loren Allred's "Never Enough" and Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide".
