THE CHAPEL

At the heart of our school is our Chapel – a quiet and sacred space set aside for prayer, reflection and worship. The Chapel is central to our Catholic identity and is used daily by pupils, staff and visitors as a place to encounter God and to find peace in the busyness of school life.

The Chapel is home to our weekly Mass, regular prayer services, and opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It is also where pupils gather for the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, and other devotions throughout the liturgical year. In addition, the Chapel provides a still and welcoming space for personal prayer, silent reflection, or small group gatherings, allowing pupils to grow in faith and deepen their spiritual lives. The Chapel is also used as a learning space, with some Religious Education lessons taking place there, helping pupils to connect their studies directly with the life of faith.

Beyond liturgical use, the Chapel plays an important role in supporting the pastoral life of our school. It is a place where pupils and staff can come together in times of joy and celebration, as well as in times of sadness and challenge. It reminds us of our shared values, our mission to serve one another, and our calling to live out the Gospel in daily life.

The Chapel is therefore much more than a physical space – it is the spiritual heart of our school, nurturing the faith and wellbeing of all who enter.
