PRAYER AND WORSHIP

At the heart of our Catholic secondary school is a vibrant and inclusive prayer and worship life, offering every pupil meaningful opportunities to grow in faith. Rooted in the teachings of Christ and inspired by Gospel values, our community seeks to live out its mission each day through prayer, reflection, and action.

Pupils are invited to encounter God in a variety of ways: through daily prayer in form time, regular assemblies, seasonal liturgies, and the celebration of Mass throughout the year. Special times in the Church’s calendar, such as Advent, Lent, and feast days, are marked with creative and prayerful experiences that encourage spiritual reflection and personal growth.

Leadership in faith is nurtured through our Faith Council and our Chaplaincy and Ethos Ambassadors, who play a key role in shaping the spiritual life of the school. These pupils help plan and lead acts of worship, promote Catholic social teaching, and act as role models for their peers, living out the values of compassion, service, and respect.

Whether through quiet moments of prayer, community worship, or student-led activities, every child is supported and encouraged to deepen their relationship with God and to live out their faith with confidence and joy.
