FAITH COUNCIL
The Faith Council is a dedicated group of pupils who play an important role in the spiritual life of our school. Working alongside staff, our Faith Council helps to plan and lead meaningful opportunities for prayer and worship, ensuring that the Catholic ethos of our school is lived out in daily life.

Members of the Faith Council prepare and deliver prayers in assemblies, contribute to liturgies and special celebrations, and support the organisation of events in the Chapel. They also lead seasonal initiatives such as praying the Rosary during October, preparing Advent and Lent liturgies, and supporting charity appeals that reflect our mission to serve others. They also lead a weekly Bible study session, where pupils can explore Scripture in a friendly and supportive environment. During these sessions, pupils read and reflect on passages from the Bible, discuss their meaning, and consider how the teachings can be applied in daily life. The sessions encourage questions, sharing of ideas, and personal reflection, helping pupils to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and grow spiritually. Open to all year groups, Bible study is a space for learning, friendship, and faith in action.

Through all of these activities, our Faith Council share their faith with peers, encouraging everyone to take part in prayer, reflection, and acts of service. By giving their time and talents, these pupils help to make prayer and worship accessible, engaging and relevant for everyone in our school community. Their commitment is a living example of our mission to grow together in faith, service and love.
