FLAME

In 2023 and 2025, our pupils had the privilege of attending Flame, the largest Catholic youth event in the UK, held at the OVO Arena in Wembley. These events brought together thousands of young people for a day of vibrant worship, inspiring talks and powerful music.

In 2023, the theme was “Rise Up!”, inspired by the World Youth Day scripture “Mary arose and went with haste” (Luke 1:39). This theme encouraged young people to embrace their faith with enthusiasm and purpose. The 2025 event, themed “Unstoppable: Fan the Flame of Hope”, continued this momentum, focusing on the unwavering strength and hope found in faith.

Attending Flame on both occasions was an exciting experience for our pupils. They returned with renewed enthusiasm for their faith, a deeper sense of community, and a stronger commitment to living out their Catholic values. The experiences and insights gained from Flame continue to inspire and influence their spiritual journeys.
