Mr Williams, Mrs Holohan and Miss Nanola recently returned from the first-ever trip to Glan-Llyn Isa’ with 30 excellent Year 10 pupils.

Glan-Llyn is an Urdd residential centre in North Wales, set on a lake (as ‘llyn’ suggests). Pupils took part in a wide range of activities, including stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, raft building, climbing and high ropes — all delivered through the medium of Welsh.

Mr Williams has provisionally booked next year’s trip for 4–6 June 2027, subject to governor approval in October.
