Arrangements During Red Weather Alert - Friday 26 June

Dear Parents and Carers,

Further to our recent communications regarding the red weather alert, I am writing to confirm arrangements for Friday 26 June.

With temperatures now forecast to return to more typical levels for this time of year, the school will be open as normal and full attendance is expected for all pupils.

Following our earlier risk assessment and the measures implemented this week, we are confident that conditions will allow for a safe return to normal school operations.

All pupils should therefore:

  • Attend school as usual

  • Wear either:

    1. Normal uniform (school trousers and shirt), but there will be no requirement to wear blazers, jumpers or ties

      or

    2. Full PE kit (PE top with black, mid-thigh length school shorts or black, full-length leggings)

  • Continue to bring a refillable water bottle, particularly if warm conditions persist

Thank you for your continued support and flexibility during this period of extreme weather.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs E Pole

Headteacher
