As Bishop Vaughan moves from strength to strength, a Parent Teacher Friend Association (PTFA) is being launched to support the school in its continued growth. The support of parents has been essential in the school’s success and the PTFA will develop this further, through fundraising and events to bring together the school and wider community.
The PTFA is looking for parents/carers, teachers and support staff and other supporters of the school to volunteer their skills and expertise. If you have excellent organisational and/or creative skills, are committed to the continued growth of the school and wish to take an active role in the Bishop Vaughan journey, then a position on the PTFA may be for you.
The first meeting of the PTFA will take place on Thursday 13th February at 5.30pm in the Sixth Form Common Room. During this meeting, committee positions will be elected, including the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. If you would like to join, or simply find out more about the PTFA, please join us at this meeting. Refreshments will be available.
