The AS Government and Politics class participated in a workshop today with staff from the National Assembly Wales.
Dilwyn Young Jones, an educator from the National Assembly, visited the school to discuss issues including reliable news sources, the nature of elections and the future of the Welsh Government.
The class agreed the session was very informative and valuable. The class will be following up on today’s session with a visit to the Senedd in Cardiff to see the Welsh Government at work.
The workshop is one of the many practical ways that the Government and Politics class is learning in their AS studies. The subject offers students the opportunity to learn about current affairs and the political systems around them. As such, the students take part in a range of activities and have access to a range of resources, including political journals and external speakers.
